Examples of use:
Carrier frame for the optoelectronic industry Deployment:the frame is the basis for a femtosecond laser system which is used in corneal surgery for sight disorder corrections. Requirement: complex stainless steel frame made of intricately welded square tubular frames. In conclusion, the dimensional accuracy of the laser system is validated on the basis of 40 defined measurement points and documented as production proceeds. Special feature: manual welding is responsible for over 200 spot welds being realized in a fixed sequence. The tolerance specification of only 0.3 mm is extremely tight.
Stainless steel cabinet system as an individual non-standard solution in laser and etching technology Requirements: high-grade, brushed stainless steel surfaces for maximum hygiene standards, optimally adjusted dimensioning of the compartments with transparent orderly arrangement structure, special closing technology for easily running drawers, user-friendly and ergonomic. Deployment: orderly and secure storage of films, repro-material and other accessories in the clean room. Special features: MICHELFELDER manufactured to specification not only the stainless steel cabinets but also the rest of the clean room equipment, such as tables and cleaning basins; all system components and sub-assemblies from a single source incl. laser-cutting, sheet metal bending, stainless steel welding and installation.
Process technology unit in the clean room Deployment: wet-chemical operations in photovoltaic production, medical technology, semi-conductor technology and micro-technology. Special features: welded frame structure devised by MICHELFELDER: tube laser cutting creates mortise dowel joints on square-end pipes (plug-in system) – this considerably facilitates welding operations. The slight heat input associated with stainless steel welding contributes to a high degree of dimensional accuracy.
