MICHELFELDER's robot-laser welding machine (Trulaser Robot 5020) brings out all the benefits of laser welding even in the case of complex 3D stainless steel components. This includes the slight heat-affected zone ensured by the high welding speeds and which effectively protects the workpieces from warping. The welds are high-precision ones and largely residue-free. This cuts any manual re-finishing to a minimum. Thanks to reduced set-up times, both single parts and small/medium-sized batches can be flexibly and economically produced.
Low unit costs with circumferential welds
MICHELFELDER also has a circumferential seam laser welding machine. This ensures a high operating efficiency in welding non-positioned circumferential seams – especially when the removal and/or insertion time roughly tallies with the welding time. Compared to conventional welding processes, unit costs can be cut, in individual cases, to over 25%.
