Maximum productivity coupled with maximum product quality and punctual delivery. To methodically bring these goals about, MICHELFELDER Edelstahltechnik has effectively optimized its core processes under the "M process". To this end, all process runs have been reorganized on the model of Toyota Production Management (TPM). The aim is to achieve a continuous improvement of process efficiency in manufacturing, assembly and logistics i.e. from order intake through to on-schedule despatch of components and system solutions. To raise productivity in sheet-metal working, to standardize material and communication flows and simultaneously to reduce processing times, machinery, manufacturing equipment and the entire workplace structure inclusive of individual fields of responsibility have been re-arranged based on the flow principle. Centre-stage of the new organization structure is the central order control office. By taking on order-related coordination, communication and expediting, it ensures a high degree of delivery schedule effectiveness.
